I am holding the back left pin on #15 North while Dave Camp walks back to his ball some 30 feet away just on the front edge. All of a sudden Dave starts " running" towards me yelling "My Cart. My Cart". I turn around and watch it roll down the slope and do a perfect dive into the pond. Water oozing out of every part of that cart for the last 3 holes.
I held the back pin on #18 Urich waitng for Burr Udall to hit his his putt from just on the front edge of the green. 105 feet later the ball goes in the hole. Burr walked it off to get the distance.
Nothing unusual about my ball finding the water on Urich #17. So just tee it up again from the tee box and into the hole for a routine par.
My team was way ahead on Urich for the Yellow ball event when I stepped up to the tee box on 17 and ended our chances into the water.
